EB-5 attorney Shahzad Qadri is a partner at Wong Fleming P.C., where he focuses on immigration, business, commercial, and international law, with an emphasis on EB-5 regional centers.
Before entering private practice, Qadri served as a deputy prosecuting attorney in the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office in Seattle. He also has experience in toxic torts and insurance defense. Law & Politics named him a Rising Star, and the Washington State Bar Association nominated him for a fellowship in the Washington Leadership Institute.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington in 1996, graduating magna cum laude. He received his law degree from Seattle University School of Law in 1999. He is also a member of several professional organizations, including the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the International Practice Section Executive Committee, the Washington State Bar Association, the South Asian Bar Association, the King County Bar Association, and the Young Lawyers Division Board of Trustees. Qadri has represented a range of clients. His work includes a $240 million mixed-use venture in Washington state; a restructured transaction involving a large car manufacturer and a defaulting dealership; a $45 million resort property purchase and an overseas investment for the resort’s development; and a $650 million green energy project in Washington.
He has written for Business Law Today, Washington State Bar Journal, Banking and Financial Services Policy Report, and ABA GPSolo Law Trends. He speaks Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi, and conversational French.
In addition to his commercial and business law work, Qadri has experience raising foreign investment for development projects and focuses his immigration practice on EB-5 regional centers.
