October visa bulletin remains unchanged for EB-5 investors

The final action date for EB-5 investors from Mainland China stands still this month while all other countries are current, according to the October visa bulletin from the State Department.
Mainland China remains at Nov. 22, 2015 while other countries such as India, Vietnam, Mexico and the Philippines remain current in the non-regional center stream. No dates were issued for the regional center route since it wasn’t reauthorized on June 30.
October marks the start of the 2022 fiscal year for USCIS and in some employment-based categories, USCIS will accept adjustment of status applications with a priority date that is earlier than the date for filing listed in the October visa bulletin.
In light of the ongoing situation with Covid-19, reduced staff and operations at U.S. consulates abroad might continue to limit the issuance of immigrant visas.
