The Department of State’s January 2023 Visa Bulletin has just been released, specifying the final action dates for employment-based immigration, which EB-5 investors have to consider while filing their applications.
For most countries, the final action date is current, indicating no backlog. For Mainland China, however, it is March 22, 2015, meaning that Chinese EB-5 investors would only be able to initiate their green card applications should their priority date fall before that date. China’s final action date has remained unchanged since October 2022.
The final action date for India is Nov. 8, 2019, same as in the December Visa Bulletin.
The final action date for all set-aside categories for all countries, including China and India, is current.
