The U.S. Department of State (DOS) released the December 2023 visa bulletin with no updates to final action dates or dates for filing a petition for EB-5 applicants.
The final action date for EB-5 green card applications for Chinese investors remains Oct. 1, 2015. Meanwhile, this date for Indian EB-5 investors continues to be Dec. 15, 2018.
Also, EB-5 investors from countries other than mainland China and India face no backlog issues as their dates remain current.
Meanwhile, the dates for filing an EB-5 petition continue to be Jan. 1, 2017, and Apr. 1, 2022, for Chinese and Indian EB-5 applicants, respectively. The dates for filing for other countries in the rural, high unemployment, and infrastructure set-aside categories remain current.
