Jeremy Robbins, Executive Director of New American Economy, is joining the American Immigration Council as its new Executive Director, following a merger between the two organizations. The newly combined organization will offer a vast suite of advocacy tools and networks to support immigrants’ rights in the United States.

Immigration attorney Melissa Harms is joining WR Immigration to helm the firm’s North Bay office. Amanda Brown and Miki Matrician have also been appointed as co-managing partners of WR Immigration’s Boston office.

A total of 14 attorneys from Greenberg Traurig, LLP have been selected in the 2022 edition of Lawdragon’s 500 Leading U.S. Corporate Employment Lawyers list, including EB-5 verified attorneys Kristen W. Ng, Kate Kalmykov, Laura Foote Reiff, and Nataliya Rymer.

J. Alexander Short, immigration attorney and former Assistant District Attorney in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, has joined Norris McLaughlin, P.A. as an Associate in the firm’s Immigration Law Practice Group. Short is working out of Norris McLaughlin’s Allentown office.

Benjamin Brueggemann has recently started as a senior associate at Fragomen’s Irvine office. He has a background as an immigration lawyer and helps clients with their employment-based immigration processes, such as EB-5.
