Gregory L. White is a corporate and securities attorney, and a partner in the Boston office of Seyfarth Shaw, LLP. He has experience structuring EB-5 financing transactions, along with representing private equity funds, corporations, and venture capital firms in mergers and acquisitions, financing, and technology transactions. As co-chair of the EB-5 immigrant investment specialty team at Seyfarth Shaw, LLP, Attorney White is part of a multi-disciplinary team of EB-5 attorneys engaged in immigration, finance, securities and securities compliance, real estate, tax, lending, corporate and construction laws. He is also a steering committee member of the firm’s Capital Markets practice group.
Attorney White has worked with numerous telecommunications, data storage, software, mobile technology, e-commerce, and medical technology companies. His representation of these companies includes fundraising transactions, corporate partnering, strategic alliances and joint ventures, along with licensing, marketing, distribution, support, outsourcing, service and other agreements. He has expertise in start-up, public company and growth funding work, and is knowledgeable in the area of securities law practice and compliance.
The author of many articles and legal education publications on private equity transactions, Attorney White also lectures frequently on EB-5 securities, finance and compliance issues. He received his bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College in 1981 and his Juris Doctor from Boston University Law School in 1985, where he graduated cum laude. He is a licensed attorney in good standing with the Massachusetts State Bar. Attorney White has been recognized by Martindale-Hubble as one of Boston’s Top Rated Lawyers and as AV Preeminent rated.
