We plan to develop a sports center for athletic education, training, and competition, along with residential units in a rural area. How long does it take to qualify as an EB-5 project, and when can we start promoting it to investors after approval?

EB-5 Immigration attorneysIf you are establishing your own Regional Center you will have to go through all the steps for approval and then can immediately market to investors.

EB-5 Immigration attorneysIf you already have a regional center designation, you need to file Form I-956F with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration services before you can start promoting the project to investors. I-956F approval may take 6-10 months, but you do not need to wait for approval to accept investors.

Creating EB-5 Regional CentersIf the RC is already approved and you are just filing the I-956F Project Approval it can take any where from 8-12 months. However, you may start marketing to Investors after the receipt notice for the I-956F has been issued.
