We are a housing development entity looking to attract foreign funds through the EB-5 program. At present, we are not prepared to set up a Regional Center. Maybe later. Please let us know the details of how you can help us attract these investors. And I am sure you will include your fees and conditions to let us know where and how to work with your office.
Eb 5 investors look generally for four conditions in any project to be met:
1. clear, transparent and experienced management who can sit with the investor and clearly explain the project;
2. econometrically job creation models which clearly demonstrate that the jobs meet all USCIS requirements;
3. exit strategy for the capital which has been invested and which will need to be returned to the investor at some point;
4. fluid green card or residency process by an experienced and caring law firm.
Strategies for identifying qualified investors range from logical to ludicrous but a good project will always attract the attention of the marketplace. Our firm does not engage in the attraction of qualified investors.
There is no formula for attracting EB-5 investors. It all depends on your marketing efforts. We can help you in any legal capacity. I am aware of an overseas company that does some marketing for regional centers, immigrationintoamerica.com. I would imagine there are other such companies out there. Please advise if I can be of any additional assistance. Thanks.
To answer your question we will assume your goal is to attract EB5 investors for a Direct EB5 project. First to attract investors, our law office will be retained to assist you in the preparation of the required documentation for a viable, EB5 compliant and marketable EB5 business. We will also introduce you to brokers or intermediaries who are in the business of having access to a large number of qualified foreign national investors. We will also analyze your marketing budget which may include trade shows, seminars,and personal meetings, and marketing material such as brochures, websites, DVD''s referring to the project. If you are comfortable retaining our law firm we are confident will be able to assist you. To start our representation we will be retained after you sign our agreement of representation. We would recommend that we first schedule a date and time certain to discuss your timeline and required amount of EB-5 funding. Looking forward to speaking to you soon.
You need to hire an attorney in this area to 1. Make your business into a Regional Center, and 2. Bring his clients into your Regional Center. You cannot attract investors unless you are a Regional Center.
Test the market first. We offer a way to consult EB-5 investor recruiters in six major Chinese cities. It costs less than $10,000 and provides you with very good market information.
