Answer: Marketing of your project is one way, and in order to better target your marketing you can look to Brokers in various countries (China, South Korea, etc) that specifically work as the middle man to help with the proper marketing of your projects for EB-5 Investors.

There are a numerous Migration Brokers in China (and other countries) who would be willing to assist you with sourcing investors for your project, provided they believe in your project and you can agree regarding terms. There are also U.S. based migration "consultants" that many companies believe it is a good idea to hire. They essentially work with you to fine tune your pitch for Migration Brokers - with respect to the positioning of your project, market terms and cultural issues as well as negotiating with the Brokers on your behalf. You typically only get one chance to convince a Migration Broker to take on your project and an unawareness of cultural issues can be a major obstacle.

I hope all is well. I would need more information as to what type of investment the foreign investors will be doing to determine if we need a stand alone EB-5 or a Regional Center needs to be created. Thank you.

You would generally need to conduct marketing efforts in the same manner as you would when seeking regular investors. Helpful options might include establishing connections with licensed investment brokers, immigration attorneys, migration agents overseas in order to attract potential EB-5 investors. It is important that your business complies with applicable SEC regulations prior to engaging in soliciting investments and have a viable business plan that complies with applicable SEC/EB-5 regulations. Do not hesitate to contact our office should you have further questions.
