Zhiping Liu is a corporate attorney. He is a founding partner of Liu, Chen & Hoffman LLP, a boutique law firm based in New York.
Liu has practiced corporate law for 15 years. During this time, he has focused on shareholder rights, investment transactions, fund formations and project financings, all of which are particularly relevant for him to help his EB-5 clients understand their rights and remedies as investors, as well as the legal status and economic conditions of their investments in the job-creating entities.
Liu has helped over 200 EB-5 investors obtain the return of all or substantially all of their EB-5 investment funds. He has also negotiated on behalf of many groups of EB-5 investors on the terms and conditions of the redeployment of their investment capital.
Liu earned his MBA with distinction from Baruch College, and his JD from the New York University School of Law.
Prior to establishing Liu, Chen & Hoffman LLP, Liu practiced in some of the most prestigious Wall Street and Silicon Valley law firms for more than seven years, where he advised various clients in completing complex equity investment, fund formation and project financing transactions.
Liu is licensed to practice in New York and Georgia. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.
