Ronald R. Fieldstone is an EB-5 securities attorney. He is a partner in the Miami office of the law firm of Saul Ewing LLP. In addition to securities matters, Fieldstone also specializes in corporate and taxation law. He is a member of the Taw Law and Real Property, Probate, and Trust Sections of the Florida Bar Association. He has been a frequent lecturer and has published a number of articles on tax, real estate, franchise, and corporate law for over 37 years.

Fieldstone has been involved with the EB-5 program since 2009. He has served as counsel for various industries utilizing EB-5 visa investor offerings where he has advised on corporate and securities issues. He represents numerous EB-5 Regional Centers and has been involved in more than 60 individual projects that utilized EB-5 offerings. Fieldstone prepares private placement memorandums and related documents as part of his corporate and securities work for such projects. He also actively publishes and lectures on topics related to the EB-5 corporate and securities law fields.

Fieldstone has extensive business and real estate acumen which he utilizes when working on EB-5 related legal matters. He was the principal from 1987 to 1995 for a Blockbuster Video franchise that oversaw 25 stores across eight states. He was a principal of Barnie’s Coffee and Tea from 2001 to 2004, which operated 20 franchised units and 80 corporate units, and is also the principal of a lithotripsy company that operates across several states. From 1999 to 2008, Fieldstone was a managing partner of Landmark Residential, which managed and sponsored roughly 20,000 multifamily units across the states of Florida, Texas, North Carolina, Alabama, and Georgia. He also has wide-ranging real estate holdings throughout Florida.

Fieldstone earned his undergraduate degree magna cum laude in 1971 from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He subsequently earned his MBA from the Wharton School and his JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, both in 1974. He is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, the United States District Court and the United States Tax Court. He has been appointed to the Best Practices Committee of IIUSA and belongs to the Shanghai Association of International Economic & Technological Cooperation Committee. He is also active in numerous charitable and civic organizations.
