About Palm Beach Regional Center

Palm Beach Regional Center (PBRC) serves nine counties that include Miami/Dade, Broward, Martin, Port St. Lucie, Indian River, Hendry, Okeechobee, Charlotte and Palm Beach, the largest county southeast of the Mississippi River. PBRC is a model of diversity and innovation that truly represents the best of what Florida has to offer.

From agriculture to technology, media to hospitality, there is a wealth of opportunity for businesses to blossom on both a regional and international stage. These industries include those for which PBRC has been specifically approved: transportation facilities and infrastructure, warehouse and cargo terminals, biotechnology and related high technology manufacturing, solar panel manufacturing, water treatment plants, office buildings, hotels, film and television production, renewable energy technologies, health care facilities, financial services, agricultural activities, and restaurants.

PBRC has identified and initiated a multitude of unique projects that are ideally aligned to Palm Beach County’s most exciting growth sectors. By leveraging the expertise of affiliated companies and individuals, PBIF has been able to not only successfully establish promising opportunities, but also gather the necessary political and contracting support to bring these investments to life.

Louis Haddad, managing member of PBRC, is a senior executive and labor-management relations professional with a wealth of international trade consulting experience. His extensive experience in the public and private sectors included leading school districts and hospitals. He brings to PBRC key strengths in the areas of organizational and business development, and application of collaborative processes to provide solutions, improve operations and reduce costs.

Haddad graduated from the University of Connecticut with an Master of Arts in secondary education in 1973, holds post-master degree credits culminating in administrative certification, and has completed management training at Yale University. He received his Bachelor of Science in English and education from Eastern Connecticut State University in 1970.

Alfred Zucaro, co-managing member, founded the World Trade Center Association Palm Beach, Inc. Zucaro has been an attorney for over 25 years, specializing in immigration and nationality law and international transactional matters, as well as serving as an elected official in the city of West Palm Beach, Fla. He has served as an adjunct professor on immigration law at Palm Beach Community College. Zucaro graduated from Fordham University, magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in economics. He received his Juris Doctor in 2006 from Nova University School of Law.
