Green Card Fund (GCF) is an EB-5 Regional Center that was federally approved by USCIS in February 2010. GCF is approved in all Arizona counties and has a focus on projects designed to improve education, healthcare, hospitality, municipal infrastructure, and emerging “green” technologies. The mission of Green Card Fund is to simplify access and approval for low-risk EB-5 investments and provide an opportunity for foreign investors to obtain permanent resident status (green card) in the United States.

By leveraging federal underwriting guidelines (FHA, HUD, USDA), USCIS guidelines, and their own standards, GCF is able to provide potential investors with a meticulous evaluation of each project’s financials, employment timelines, exit plan, and past performance. GCF employs a rigorous 4-phase review process in order to evaluate a project from the point of engagement through to its completion, ensuring transparency throughout the entire process.

GCF works to ensure the complete success of each project. Once the project is fully funded and operational, the staff at GCF conducts a monthly review process to evaluate hiring, operating reserves, income statements, balance sheets, reports from managers, and marketing and sales metrics. Once the business reaches stabilization, the reviews are conducted quarterly.
Girish C. Patel is the managing director of NewGen Commercial, a diversified holding company specializing in the development, operations, and brokerage of commercial real estate properties. Patel has been involved in the hospitality industry for over 30 years, possesses a clientele base of over 1,600 hotel owners, and has transacted over $20 million of limited-service hotel assets. An active leader in the hospitality industry, Patel has served on various committees and boards of industry organizations such as the Asian American Hotel Owner’s Association, the American Hotel & Lodging Association, and the Independent Association of Holiday Inns.
Patel strongly believes in community service and has played vital roles in the formation of organizations such as the Asian Indian American Business Group of Cincinnati and the Indo-Phoenix Symposium. He recently created the R.C. Patel Memorial Scholarship for under-sponsored students seeking a career in hospitality.
Kyle T. Walker is a founder and Managing Partner of Green Card Fund, LLC. Walker’s primary focus in the company is on industry relations, USCIS compliance, and international distribution channels. He has built distribution channels for GCF in China, India, Taiwan, and Vietnam. Prior to founding Green Card Fund, LLC, Walker was a founding member and partner of NewGen Commercial.
Mr. Walker earned his B.A. in interdisciplinary studies from Arizona State University with a focus in business and urban planning. He is also involved with the Greater Phoenix Economic Council’s (GPEC) International Leadership Council, was a founding member of the China Arizona Alliance, and serves on the Membership Committee of Invest in USA (IIUSA).
