Stella Sun is an immigration attorney. She is the founder of Sun Law Office PLLC, based in New York City and founded in 2017.
A licensed attorney since 2005, Sun practices various U.S. employment-based immigration — such as EB-5 — corporate law and real estate law. In her career, such has completed large-scale corporate cases, such as the IPO for the Bank of China on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
She has helped hundreds of immigrants obtain U.S. green cards and citizenship.
Prior to founding her own firm, Sun practiced international tax planning and was an intern for the Nassau County, N.Y., attorney’s office. She was also a research assistant at Hofstra University and an attorney in China, where she drafted and reviewed legal documents, negotiated contracts and completed due diligence.
Sun graduated from Peking University in China with an LL.B. and Master of Laws. In 2009, she earned an LL.M. from Columbia University. She also has a Juris Doctor from Hofstra University, where she received a full tuition scholarship. She is admitted to the New York State Bar Association and the national bar for China. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and a licensed Realtor in New Jersey.
