Rohit Turkhud has been practicing United States immigration law since 1985 and is able to assist clients in a wide variety of matters, including citizenship applications. Since 1994, he has specialized in employment-based immigration, including the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program. He currently serves as a partner of Fakhoury Law Group, PC (FLG). He joined the company as a partner in 2012, remaining part of an increasing international team of service providers.
Prior to Fakhoury Law Group, between 1994-2001 Turkhud acted in senior executive positions at various information technology companies. From 2004-2012, he served as a partner at immigration law firm Nallaseth & Turkhud PLLC.
Turkhud often speak on business immigration issues at professional conferences. He has authored several articles for the company newsletter and for the International Labour Organization (ILO), an international law office publication based in the United Kingdom. He has also authored an article for THE PERM BOOK, an authority on PERM processing and labor certifications. For over 6 years, he hosted a primetime immigration show on a national cable network channel.
In 1982, Turkhud earned his Bachelor of Laws degree from Government Law College, Mumbai. One year later, in 1983, he obtained his Master of Laws degree at University of Pennsylvania Law School. He is licensed to practice law in the state of New York and has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association since 1985. He speaks fluent English, Gujarati / Parsee, Hindi and Marathi.
