Lincoln Stone is a Los Angeles immigration attorney who is certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the State Bar of California’s Board of Legal Specialization. Attorney Stone has earned international renown as an author, speaker, and expert of investor and entrepreneur immigration law. He has been practicing law for more than 20 years and has focused his practice on litigation, business transactions, and immigration law throughout his career. In addition to representing individual investors from all over the world, Stone also represents venture firms and U.S. businesses seeking capital from foreign investment.

Stone earned his law degree from the University of Notre Dame. After graduating from law school, Stone was a clerk for United States federal judge Robert A. Grant. He then practiced immigration law with the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service. Stone has authored dozens of influential immigration publications and is the Editor in Chief of the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s (AILA) publication titled “Immigration Options for Investors and Entrepreneurs.”

Stone is extremely active in the immigration law community. He is chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s (AILA) EB-5 Investor Visa Conference, served as Chair for the AILA EB-5 Investor Visa Committee for five years, and serves on AILA’s immigrant entrepreneur task force. Stone has also served on the AILA National Committee for Pro Bono Services and has served as Chair of the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization Immigration and Nationality Law Advisory Commission. He has also earned awards from the Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project and AILA for his commitment to indigent pro bono legal services.

Stone maintains an extremely diverse immigration practice. He routinely provides counsel on immigration compliance matters for U.S. businesses. Stone also assists employers in the complex process of acquiring nonimmigrant worker visas and residence status for their employees. He has represented businesses from a broad spectrum of the economy, scholars, researchers, scientists, and individual immigrants with extraordinary ability.
