Adan Vega is an immigration attorney at the Law Offices of Adan G. Vega & Associates, PLLC in Houston, Texas. With more than 36 years of experience, his practice is focused on immigration and nationality law. Vega has provided legal counsel to multinational companies and is also active in providing pro bono services to communities in Texas. He is experienced in matters related to the EB-5 visa program, along with E visas, L visas, family petitions, and more.
Vega has spoken on immigration-related topics at conferences hosted by The University of Texas and AILA. He presented testimony on the Immigration Reforms and Control Act of 1986 before a U.S. House of Representatives Committee. He also provided legal counsel on immigration issues for the governments of El Salvador and Mexico, along with other foreign governments in the United States.
Vega is board-certified in immigration and nationality law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Since 2004, he has been recognized as a Top Texas Lawyer by Texas Monthly and he was given a special service award from the U.S. Catholic Conference’s Migration and Refugee Services.
Since 1982, Vega has participated in AILA and served as Texas Chapter Conference Co-Chairman for multiple years. He is a founding member of the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and has served as president of Consejo Hispano. Vega has also served in various capacities for CELH, including as president. He is the author of the Guide of United States History and Government.
Vega earned his Juris Doctor from The University of Texas and his bachelor’s degree from Rice University. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
