Stephen W. Green is one of the two senior partners at Green and Spiegel LLP, based in Toronto, Ontario. He is certified as a Specialist in Immigration Law by The Law Society of Ontario.

Green, a Canadian immigration consultant, has practiced immigration law for 30 years. He specializes in managing corporate employee transfers, handling federal skilled worker and investor applications, assisting in work permits application and advising on the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP).

Green is also head of the law firm’s Investment and Entrepreneur Department, which helps professional business people and high net worth individuals invest in Canada and obtain permanent residence. Green has specialty in North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) confirmation exemptions, work permit approvals for strategic, expert and key professional employees and high-level executives.

Green’s clients range from large multinational corporations to start-ups to entrepreneurs. He represents clients in numerous industries, including Internet technology, telecommunications, hospitality, transportation, and consulting.

Green is the director of the Canada Employment Relocation Council, and he’s co-chairman of The Law Society of Upper Canada’s Annual Immigration Law Summit. He’s past chairman of the Citizenship and Immigration Section of the Canadian Bar Association, the Citizenship and Immigration Section, Canadian Bar Association; and the Citizenship and Immigration Section, Canadian Bar Association of Ontario.

Green is frequently asked to speak as a panelist, moderator, and lecturer. He was invited by the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada to attend the 2017 roundtable and give feedback on the federal government’s new Global Skills Strategy.

Green received a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree at the University of Windsor, and he earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree, with honors, in communications at York University. He speaks English.
