The final action date for Vietnamese EB-5 investors jumped nearly two months forward to Dec. 15, 2017, when the State Department released the April visa bulletin today.
The final action date for EB-5’s regional center and non-regional center categories for investors from mainland China remains the same – Dec. 15, 2015. All other countries, including India, Mexico and the Philippines, remain current.
The State Department also announced they will start hosting “Chats with Charlie” on March 17 on its YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/TravelGov) to discuss information from the bulletin. Anyone with questions they would like answered during the live chat at 1 p.m. EST on March 17, can email them to VisaBulletin@state.gov or ask them directly in the YouTube Live Chat during the event. However, only questions of general interest will be answered and no specific case issues or policy issues will be tackled, according to the State Dept.
