EB-5 projects see increasingly faster I-956F approvals

EB5Investors.com Staff

Recent EB-5 projects are experiencing significantly faster I-956F approval times, reflecting improved efficiency in U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) processing.

Across multiple states, projects in EB-5 set aside categories —Rural, Urban, and High Unemployment Area (HUA), Targeted Employment Areas (TEAs) —have received approvals in as little as two to four months, with most authorizations occurring within three to eight months. This trend spans a variety of project types, including residential, hospitality, industrial, and multifamily developments.

For EB-5 investors, these faster approval times signal a more streamlined path to participation in well-prepared investment projects.

The USCIS approves I-956F forms for Regional Center EB-5 projects throughout the year. It is a mandatory first step. Approvals confirm that the EB-5 investment project meets the program’s requirements, making it eligible for applicants to file their petitions.
