New shareholders at Baker Donelson

Baker Donelson will relocate its New Orleans office from Place St. Charles to One Canal in the fall of 2026. The firm is also expanding with new shareholders Daniel Abrams, Robert Baxley, Tyler P. Bishop, Jordan Corbitt, Jean-Luc Delpy, Rodney Dillard II, Ashley Gibson, Charles Goldberg, Erin Gomez, Mary Grace Griffin, Greggory Jacobs, Ryan Loofbourrow, Robert Pendley, Clint Pentecost, Alexandra Bruce Rychlak, and G. Gray Wilson.

WR Immigration has a new Senior Associate

Robert Herreria has joined the WR team as their newest Senior Associate Attorney in Oakland. He previously served as Senior Manager at Vitalio.

Baker Tilly admits 52 new principals

Baker Tilly has appointed 52 new principals, effective June 1, the first appointments since Baker Tilly merged with Moss Adams. Among the new additions are Richard Giddens, Tamar Hirshman, and Kelsey Phillips on Tax and Private Wealth.

Blank Rome has new partners

The law firm has announced the addition of Patrick Harder and Brandon Davis as partners in the Real Estate practice group and industry team at the Los Angeles office. Blank Rome has also welcomed several distinguished attorneys and immigration professionals, including former Judge Mitchell Goldberg in Business Litigation, Mark D. Passler and Ryan L. Harding in Intellectual Property & Technology, Glen L. Abramson, Will Weltman, and Daniel S. Klein in Business Litigation, and David Kaufman in Finance, Restructuring, and Bankruptcy.

Invest In the USA (IIUSA) renewed its Board of Directors for 2026. William Gresser of EB-5 New York State continues to serve as President; Noreen Hogan of CMB remains Vice President; and Adam Greene of Peachtree Group remains Secretary-Treasurer. Meanwhile, Lulu Gordon of EB-5 Capital, Christian Triantaphyllis of Jackson Walker, and Dan Wycklendt of FirstPathway Partners are new Directors.

New Of Counsel and a Government attorney at CSG Law

Attorney Jyoti Agarwal has joined Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC as Of Counsel in the Immigration Group. She focuses on getting employment and investment visas, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, and various EB petitions. The firm also strengthened its Government & Regulatory Law Group by adding Robert L. Garrenger III as a member.

Flagstar welcomes new Group Director and expands Private Client Team

Flagstar Bank recently announced several key appointments and developments. Elise Ornstein has joined Flagstar Advisors as Group Director of Retirement Plan Consulting in New York, overseeing business development and serving as the primary fiduciary for institutional clients. Additionally, new leaders in the Private Client Group include Kerry Owens, Donald P. Carter Jr., and Jamael Thompson. The company also opened a new Private Bank office at 320 Park Avenue in May. Len Moscatelli has been appointed Executive Vice President and Southeast Market Executive, leading private banker teams from the new Palm Beach Private Client Office.

Metropolitan Commercial Bank appoints new leadership

Metropolitan Commercial Bank is expanding its West Coast operations by appointing Robert Hasler as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Specialty Deposits, with a focus on growth across key Western markets. Additionally, the bank has expanded its government banking platform in New Jersey by adding Brian Turano and Thomas N. Kasper, who will work with municipalities to foster relationships and provide customized financial solutions. The bank has been named to the 2026 KBW Bank Honor Roll by Keefe, Bruyette & Woods.

Saul Ewing announces several appointments

James P. Chou will lead the New York office, with Soobin Kim joining as a Partner in the Corporate Practice from Minneapolis, focusing on mergers and acquisitions in the Asia/Pacific region. Kevin (Piljung) Kang has also joined as a Corporate Tax Attorney. Additionally, Partners Brian Seal and Tom Southard have joined the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice in Washington, D.C., bringing over 40 years of combined experience.

Sheppard appoints Director of Private Equity

Attorney Alan Chen has joined as the Director of the Private Equity practice. Before Sheppard, he was a Partner at Kirkland & Ellis.

New partner joins Warshaw Burnstein

Stephen Brodsky is a new partner in the firm’s Corporate and Litigation Groups. He previously served as a partner at Mazzola Lindstrom.
