Attorney Hargis graduated from Vassar College with a bachelor’s degree in political science and international economics in 2003. That same year, Seton Hall University School of Law awarded her the prestigious Presidential Scholarship to study law. She began representing immigration clients in 2005 through the law school’s Center for Social Justice. Attorney Hargis’ legal training and education also include pro bono work for community-based public interest organizations such as the ACLU-NJ, and the study of International Law at Universidad de Palermo in Buenos Aires Argentina.
