Gulf Coast Regional Investment Center, or GCRIC, is an EB-5 Regional Center located in Destin, Fla. It earned its designation as a regional center in July 2011 and has an operational geographic scope that spans counties in Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana. It is an independent and non-profit entity that helps immigrants attain a U.S. visa through investment in a manner that is approved and sanctioned by the U.S. government. It is a single member limited liability company, with American Plus Investments I, LLC as its sole member.

GCRIC has organized multiple projects, including the development of several properties all over the world. Henderson Beach Resort and Heritage Farms are a couple of examples. GCRIC is extremely efficient because of its extensive affiliation with professional companies that work towards success in the United States for foreign investors. This regional center invites immigrants in the Gulf region to invest $500,000 to $1 million in order to obtain an EB-5 visa and eventual U.S. citizenship for the investor, his/her spouse, and his/her children. Working with GCRIC ensures job creation that would help other immigrants as well, assures that the investment is in good hands, and allows the foreign investor to live anywhere in the United States. Obtaining U.S. citizenship through the EB-5 program gives access to high quality education in the United States for the investor’s children.

To assure that funds will be appropriately invested, GCRIC employs the help of several professional bodies and experienced firms that work together to achieve success for a particular project. The professional team at Gulf Coast Regional Investment Center knows how intimidating and exhausting the processes of applying for U.S. citizenship can be. William Hagerman, a civil engineer from Memphis, Tenn., is the internal director and CEO of GCRIC and is known for his impressive leadership and past portfolio at Dunavant enterprises, the world’s biggest privately-owned cotton producer. The enterprise operates in Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa, giving Hagerman a certain international know-how. He is experienced in real estate, agriculture, residential, commercial, and even industrial investments. He has founded plenty of international companies, including a facility that deals with toxic waste treatment and an engineering consultation firm focused on industrial waste management. Hagerman is a registered professional engineer in 14 states.

Together with Hagerman, Shannon Howell, the assistant director and project director of GCRIC, helps direct the regional center. He is the president/CEO of Devcon Services Group, LLC, a consulting company that specializes in real estate development, business management, and heavy construction. He has been involved in some of the most complex and upscale real estate projects in the southeastern United States. The entire team of professionals at GCRIC works to ensure the success of immigrant investments and to make U.S. citizenship a possibility.
