Margaret Stock is an EB-5 immigration attorney who focuses solely on immigration and citizenship law for Lane Powell Attorneys & Counselors in Anchorage, Ala. Attorney Stock is nationally recognized as an expert on immigration and national security law. She has testified regularly before various congressional committees on topics such as immigration, military issues and homeland security. Attorney Stock is a retired lieutenant colonel who served in the U.S. Army Reserve Military Police. She has served as a professor at the United States Military Academy at West Point and has also taught at the University of Alaska, where she was an adjunct instructor.

She is admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the District of Alaska and in all Alaska state courts.

She was the founding chair of the Alaska Bar Association’s Immigration Law Section, is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, has held numerous leadership positions on immigration committees of the American Bar Association, is a member of the New York City Bar Association, and a member of the Federalist Society for Law & Public Policy. Attorney Stock is also a fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
