Simard earned a Bachelor of Law Degree at Sherbrooke University in Quebec, Canada in 2000. He has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2002. Simard speaks English and French.
After graduating from college, Simard moved to Hong Kong, where he continued to work as an immigration lawyer and consultant advising entrepreneurs and investors from around the world, specifically in the Asia-Pacific region.
In 2010, Simard established Simard & Associates Ltd., a group of residency and citizenship consultants that specializes in business immigration to the Caribbean, Europe, and North America. The group of immigration specialists has more than 25 years of combined business and legal experience, assisting clients across Asia to make the move to North America. The company’s two main offices are located in Hong Kong and Montreal.
