Will getting divorced affect an EB-5 investor’s I-829 application?

In case of divorce during the conditional green card period, can the spouse affect the EB-5 principal applicant’s application by filing the same I-829? For example, the spouse not providing the biometrics on time or not signing at some point?

Spouse’s actions should not affect the principal.

It shouldn't - the I-829 instructions confirm that a divorced spouse can be included on the principal's I-829 or file their own petition.
