Why would an EB-5 investor want to invest in the program?

I am seeking more information about the EB-5 visa. Why would an entrepreneur want to make an investment in the EB-5 program? Is it worth it for the EB-5 investor to get a visa through this program?

For those who can afford an EB-5 investment and are otherwise qualified under the EB-5 program, this is one of the few direct ways to immigrate to the United States for permanent residence. This option is not for maximizing return on investment, but rather to get a green card.

The EB-5 program is one of the few direct paths to a green card (other than marrying a U.S. citizen). As an investment, there may be more profitable ways to use your funds, but the goal for most EB-5 investors is to obtain U.S. permanent residency.

Approval rates are close to 90 percent and there are good projects out there. For most, this is the only option to get a green card.

It depends on the investor's desire to obtain a green card for himself, spouse, and minor children. Is it beneficial to have access to the United States for business and or educational facilities for his family? EB-5 is probably the easiest and most efficient way to obtain permanent residence for those who can afford it.

An EB-5 investor would invest in the program as it is an opportunity for him/her to get a green card.
