My I-526 got approved and I submitted my adjustment of status application two months ago. When can I expect to get a biometrics appointment? I have been reading online that people get their appointments within a month of applying.

Immigration attorneysUSCIS usually issues the biometrics appointment notice within a month to two months. You should inquire with the USCIS to make sure your adjustment application has been accepted/receipted in and that it is indeed in process if you have not yet received your biometrics appointment.

Immigration attorneysUsually it's within a month, but that doesn't mean USCIS will delay things due to "reasons". Check with your attorney to see if he or she got your notice and make sure to immediately update your address if you move.

Immigration attorneysYou may need to wait a little bit more. There is no standard schedule for a biometrics appointment and there is nothing unusual about two-month waiting period. If your waiting is closer to three months, feel free to schedule an InfoPass visit to the nearest USCIS office to discuss the situation.

EB-5 Broker DealersYou are right. Historically, biometrics appointments were granted within three to four weeks. Like everything else that has to do with immigration, biometrics appointments are also taking much longer now. I think if you cross the three-month mark, you or your attorney should make an inquiry and try to get some feedback.
