When can I get back my invested EB-5 funds if my I-829 is in processing?

I made my EB-5 investment 5 years ago and the loan is due to mature next year. My I-829 was submitted in the Fall of 2021 and is being processed. Can I get my funds returned to me when the EB-5 loan matures, or am I going to have to look for other investments for as long as my I-829 is in processing?

If you had an attorney process the case, the attorney would enquire for you with the regional project to verify when the funds shall be returned - it is all provided for in the prospectus when you applied.

Consult your executed project documentation, such as subscription agreement and the LLC or partnership agreement. These questions may also be addressed to your Regional Center general partner or your attorney who can help you review the documents and provide answers.

You will need to review the terms of the project documents.
