    EB-5 investments are incredibly diverse. Examples include: retail, restaurant, hotel, convention centers, film studios, office buildings, manufacturing, sports teams.

    Most EB-5 investors invest in business projects associated with regional centers. Most regional center EB-5 projects are real estate development projects. Alternatively, a foreign national can seek permanent residence status by becoming an EB-5 investor in a business project which is not associated with a regional center. When no regional center is involved, the foreign national is often investing in a new business venture which is often not a real estate development project.

    Most EB-5 investment projects involve real estate, which is not a good thing under current U.S. economic conditions. Look for the manufacturers, health care including hospitals, clinics and assisted living. Any EB-5 project that involves three shifts is certainly worth investigating. Please perform due diligence and don''t take the project developer''s or regional center''s word for it.

    This question is akin to asking what kind of automobile I can buy. There are more than enough investment opportunities out there to meet nearly any investment profile. The question is what your level of risk tolerance is and what other financial criteria you have. Moreover, you didn''t mention whether you are asking about a Regional Center investment or a direct investment.
