What should I do if I am nearing the end of the EB-5 loan term with no response from the regional center?

My EB-5 regional center has been unresponsive for months. I was told that the return of my investment is on a 5 + 3 year investment duration timeline. I am nearing the end of the 8th year and it looks like they have no interest in returning my loan. Is it common for RCs to never pay back investors? What are some tips to encourage them to pay back? Should I retain a litigation attorney?

First step would be to review the project documents you signed and then retain an attorney in that state to explain to you, negotiate with the Regional Center and/or file litigation if payment is due.
