What is the progress of the S.386 bill?

Will the pass of this bill help relieve the EB-5 visa backlog of investors from mainland China and India? When can investors expect a final decision for this?

  The bill is still in the Senate. Yes, the bill, if passed, proposes to eliminate the per-country numerical limitation for employment-based immigrants.

  It is being debated in the Senate and it may even slow down more with the election and impeachment proceeding in the future horizon. Considering it has not been effectively championed in the House, the bill has a long way to go.
