I have Algerian citizenship but I currently live as a resident in Turkey. Can I apply from my Turkish home for EB-5? Do I need to return to Algeria or am I advised to apply from somewhere else?

EB-5 Immigration attorneysYou can file I-526 anywhere. Retain a U.S.-based EB-5 attorney to help you competently prepare and file your case with USCIS. When I-526 is approved, you can consular process for an immigrant visa in your country of nationality or your country of residence (Turkey) if you have residency status there.

EB-5 Immigration attorneysYes, you may file an EB-5 petition on Form I-526 anywhere you currently reside. If you have obtained appropriate residency status in Turkey, upon the approval of your EB-5 investor petition, you can go to your final interview at the appropriate American consulate in Turkey. Otherwise, you would normally apply at the consulate section at the U.S. embassy in Algeria.
