What if my application has an invalid signature?

I just read that starting in July, USCIS officers will have the right to deny, not just reject, requests with invalid signatures discovered after acceptance. Does that mean that if my application has a bad signature, even if it’s been accepted, can be later rejected just because of a bad signature?

Was it signed by someone else or just a digital signature?

If it was not rejected, it should be considered "accepted". However, the adjudicator has final discretion to consider the Form incomplete. In this case, a Notice of Intent to Deny will likely be issued.
