What happens to my money if the project fails but the jobs are created?

If the EB-5 project I am selecting fails two years after construction begins with the job creation being met, will the regional center redeploy the money anyway? Do I have any say in the matter or where it goes?

If the project fails, but created the required jobs, you will likely be able to remove the conditions on your residency. However, if the project fails, you might not be able to get your investment back.

The failure of the project and the effect on your investment depends on several factors, including the timing of the project failure, the EB-5 program’s sustainment requirements, and the regional center’s policies which are outlined in the paperwork that was provided to you or your attorney in the begging.

It depends on the project documents that you signed.
