If I were to apply for the EB-5 visa now, what would happen to my application if the program is not renewed in 2027? I would be about to end the 2-year sustainment period by then. Will my application be affected, and what options would be available to me as an investor if such a scenario happens?

EB-5 Immigration attorneysI don’t expect that to happen and if it does there will be guidelines on either grandfathering in cases on file or other instructions on porting to another program most likely.

EB-5 Immigration attorneysThe Regional Center EB-5 program is set to expire on September 30, 2027. However, investors must submit their I-526E petitions before September 30, 2026, to be eligible under current rules. Once you have submitted your application, your case will be processed according to the current regulations.
