My I-526 petition, which included a $500,000 investment through a regional center, was approved in April and now I need to collect and submit my documents to the National Visa Center. Do I also need to send them an affidavit of support even though I am my own petitioner and I do not have a sponsor? If so, why? Also, what is the most common mistake when submitting these documents?

Find an EB-5 Visa Lawyer: Immigration AttorneyYou do not need an affidavit of support for yourself. The most common mistake is to not use a qualified lawyer, because if you get this 99 percent right, you can get it denied. Make sure everything you submit is content with everything you have previously stated and, of course, make sure it is true.
