What are my options if I am laid off with an H-1B visa? - EB5Investors.com

What are my options if I am laid off with an H-1B visa?

I have an H-1B visa valid until December 2025. However, my employer has recently laid off a few H-1B visa holders due to a restructuring of the original project. I’m not sure if this will happen to me, so I’m actively seeking a new employer. However, I understand that not many will be willing to employ an H-1B worker with less than 6 months left on their visa. I am considering pursuing a Master’s degree or applying for residency through the EB-5 visa program. Not sure which is the fastest option.
