Should I suspend my EB-5 application?

Due to unfortunate family circumstances, I won’t be able to apply for the EB-5 visa at the desired date. My attorney has said most of my documentation can stand a delay. However, the project I was interested in will not be available by the time I think I’ll be able to apply. I am still deciding whether to continue or not. What have other investors done in similar cases?

I would need more facts to advise you – have you put money into the project already?

If you are not ready, you surely should not force yourself to proceed.
