As my family and I plan to apply for a US EB-5 visa, we are concerned about the time it takes the US government to process our forms. Once we receive approval for the application, we must file Form DS-260 and then undergo an interview. How long is that part of the process taking?

EB-5 Immigration attorneysCompleting the NVC process including filling in the DS260 and submitting all civil documents takes about one to two months. Then it will normally take two to three months for NVC to review and approve before sending your materials to the U.S. Consulate. It will then take about six to nine months to get an interview notice from the U.S. Consulate. This time frame is estimated based on our experience but some may take longer.
