I read many opinions on partial payments for EB-5 investments. Some people on social media say they are a good option, but I am concerned about the maximum time allowed to complete the payment. What is the maximum time I have to complete the payment, and how soon must I complete it after I file my EB-5 visa application?

EB-5 Immigration attorneysWe strongly discourage partial payments but if you identify the source of capital and can show you in process of transferring funds you may or may not have problems.
There are now many denials on partial funding and while they may take many months to adjudicate, they are sometimes issuing these denials on a few months after filing.
If you can identify the funds and complete funding within 90 days, maybe safe but always some risk.

EB-5 Immigration attorneysThe EB-5 regulations do not specify a maximum time frame for completing the full investment. However, if the investment has not been fully made by the
time USCIS adjudicates your I-526/I-526E petition, USCIS may issue a Request for Evidence (RFE), which can delay case processing.
In practice, we generally recommend that clients complete the full investment as soon as possible and no later than 6 months after filing the petition, in order to minimize the risk of an RFE and processing delays.
