How soon should I file for the EB-5 visa after I get the H-B visa?

How soon should I apply for the EB-5 visa program once I am confirmed as an H-1B visa holder, to obtain permanent residency once I complete the work I was hired for?

You may file before you get the H-1B if you are in another valid nonimmigrant status but after the H is approved is also fine and you can start the process before approval and then actually file when you have the approval in hand.
