My son (15 years old) and I recently received our green cards under the EB-3 TEA category about three months ago and are currently in the United States. If I were to marry a U.S. citizen now, is there any way for my son to apply for U.S. citizenship immediately (based on his stepfather’s citizenship) without waiting until he turns 18 or until 5 years after his green card is approved? If I get married, would I be eligible to apply for U.S. citizenship 3 years after receiving my green card or 3 years after the marriage?

EB-5 Immigration attorneysYour son would have to wait 5 years. You could do 3 years.
