How soon can I invest after the EB-5 project is approved?

One of the projects I am looking into recently received their I-956F approval, while the others are still waiting for the authorization. How long should I wait to compare this project with the other ones that are still pending approval before applying? I don’t feel it’s safe to invest in a project without the 956F being approved, even if they look great on paper.

Gret question. Having 956F approval is extremely helpful especially if you are doing concurrent filing and will not maintain nonimmigrant status. If its an experienced regional center and structured correctly, we can anticipate approvals if there is a strong track record with similar projects.

I agree that is the minimum I would require before considering using it as my EB-5 investment. Other than that, do the due diligence you would do with any investment or hire a professional to do this for you.
