If I need to travel back to my country to adjust my status, as announced by USCIS, how long can I expect to stay there until my Adjustment of Status (AOS) is approved? Do I have to travel with my family, or would it be acceptable for me to go first while they remain here until my AOS is approved?

EB-5 Immigration attorneysAdjustment is done in the U.S. and is still available if you have maintained your status.

EB-5 Immigration attorneysIf your adjustment of status (I-485) is pending, I do not suggest changing to consular processing at this time. The new adjustment of status policy memo does not automatically require all adjustment of status applicants to apply from abroad. I recommend proceeding with the adjustment of status and
preparing to justify the need to adjust status in the United States.
