I would like to know why it takes so long to process EB-5 applications at USCIS. I will be making a $800,00 investment in an EB-5 project through a regional center designated by the USCIS; filling out a form with the help of a specialized EB-5 attorney, submitting hundreds of pages of documentation to prove source of funds because they request it, and paying expensive fees. So why does it take so long to review if they ask for all this information? How many people look at the forms and the documents?

EB-5 Immigration attorneysGood questions. I know they have a team of adjudicators, attorneys, CPA’s and economists but I couldn’t tell you how many of each touch each file. The rural projects seem to be proceeding the fastest.
