Immigration attorneysIt could indeed take a very long time to reschedule. Try to attend the date assigned to you.

Immigration attorneysIt is not advisable to reschedule unless it is unavoidable. If you rescheduling in EB-5 cases, your new appointment date will likely be affected by the number of petitions from the country of origin of the beneficiaries. Thus, for example, if you are from a country with a long waiting period, such as China, you may increase the pending period of your petitionwhich is likely to be months rather than weeks. Advisably, talk to an attorney before proceeding.

Immigration attorneysGenerally speaking, we do not recommend that you reschedule an EB-5 interview at the American Consulate abroad, as the length of time it takes to reschedule is beyond your individual control and is up to the particular American Consular Post and their schedule. It may well be that the reschedule date will be just as inconvenient as the original date, and it normally takes several months or longer to get a rescheduled interview date.

Immigration attorneysThis depends on the consulate. April appointments are already scheduled so I would say that your new interview could be scheduled for June, at the earliest.

Immigration attorneysThe amount of time it takes for your interviewer to reschedule will depend on the particular embassy you are scheduling with.

Immigration attorneysIt depends on where you are. Normally, I do not recommend that my clients reschedule an interview unless they really have to, because rescheduling may significantly delay your EB-5 process. The length of the delay depends on the case load of a specific consulate. For example, if you are an investor from China, you should prepare for a 6-month delay.

Immigration attorneysThat would depend on the backlogs in scheduling by the USCIS (if the adjustment of the status interview is in the United States) or the U.S. Consulate (if you are processing for an Immigrant Visa abroad). If still possible, try to avoid rescheduling as it could take months to get a new interview date.
