In early May, my I-824 was finally approved; I got the notice, but I have yet to receive the green card. I understand it should usually take up to three weeks to be mailed. But so far, nothing. And there’s no update from USCIS. Who actually mails me the green card by post?

EB-5 Immigration attorneysAn I-824 does not produce a green card. It is merely a notice of transfer ap0proval to another place for visa processing.

EB-5 Immigration attorneysWhat type of I-824 did you file? Was your approval notice lost?

EB-5 Immigration attorneysThe answer depends on whether you mean the Form I-824 or I-829. I-824 is the form used for an action on approved petition (duplicate approval notice, transferring the case to a consulate, etc.). Form I-829 is used to request a removal of conditions on residency of an EB-5 investor. If you are asking about Form I-829, it takes 3-6 weeks to get the green card after approval, but may take longer. You need to make sure that USCIS has your most recent address on file.
