How long should repayment take after an I-829 approval?

My I-829 just got approved with a receipt date in March. My regional center project was redeployed in June 2021 (I voted against the amendment, as the regional center will repay the LP at a maximum of 5 years or until the adjudication of all LPs I-829, whichever occurs first). I just want to ask about the likelihood of me getting repaid by my RC in the next few months. Or do I have to wait until June 2026 to get my funds back?

You have to look at the documents that govern return of capital and then reach out to the regional center, and of course they usually need a liquidity event to be able to repay you.

Best to check with the particular Regional Center for this answer.

You have to check the investment agreement/redeployment agreement.

This question depends on both immigration law and the status of your investment (and the regional center you are working with). You should speak to your attorney and investor relations contact at the RC for an update,
