How long for the judge to rule on my K-1 visa mandamus?

I am applying for a K1 fiancé visa. I was given an interview on April 13, 2023, at the Riyadh embassy. After the visa interview, the consular officer gave me Form DS-5535 to fill out, which I submitted two days later. Since then, I’ve been in administrative processing. Four months after the visa interview, I filed a mandamus lawsuit but faced a motion to dismiss from the U.S. Attorney. It has been more than four months that my lawsuit case has been pending with the judge. Is this timing normal, or is it taking too long? What are my options at this point?

Some Judges will sit on cases and there is nothing more you can do at this time.

Discuss with your litigator as each Court has their own way of doing things.
